I tore my hip Labrum some years ago. Between the time it took to correctly diagnose, healing time then menopause (makes us tired), my energy and desire to workout seriously waned. Exactly what I was afraid of when  I came across this cinnamon recipe which claimed to give energy, thereby, helps to lose weight.

Cinnamon & raw honey which you can buy at Publix, The Fresh Market, Wal-mart, etc.

1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon brought to boil in 8 oz ( 1 cup )  after it boils for a minute or two, remove it from the burner.  Let it cool

Do not use the microwave. 

Let it cool enough to melt the honey. DO NOT add the 1 teaspoon of raw honey to piping hot water. Why? you say? Because high temperatures kill ALL of the reasons why you take raw honey in the first place. Regular honey has been filtered and an extremely low ratio of benefits are left behind. So, it seems regular honey is pretty much a great substitute for sugar. 

You might want to constantly stir this as you drink it, I do. You can double this and drink it later. BEST results: Just before you lay down in bed for the night, at least 30 minutes after you eat or drink, take this. For me, it was about day 3 I began to notice the difference. You can do this twice a day as suggested. In the morning before you eat or drink anything, have this. Please, wait 30 minutes before you eat or drink so just before your shower will help pass the wait time.
